Why is it called Second Wind Consulting?

I am not athletic - more bookish really. I never ran a marathon - and probably never will. The most ambitious I ever got as a child was climbing trees. But when I was in middle school, my older brother taught me how to shoot hoops - and I enjoyed it. So I joined an intra-mural basketball game after school - intra-mural, meaning non-competitive. Just about the game. Fun! It was there that I learned that if I ran and ran and ran, until I thought I was going to fall over - I suddenly (miraculously) discovered a second wind. With a second wind, I felt like I could run forever.

The colleagues and clients that I have met over the years work hard at their job, and they enjoy it most of the time. Sometimes, though, they hit a wall and don't know how they are going to keep working and keep enjoying the work. As a consultant it is my joy to bring clients new perspectives and new strategies. My goal is to help you discover the inner resources you need to run as long as you want and get the job done.
